You make mention of your resistance to the municipal government's cat registry bylaw and seem to be using the same logic as long gun owners who are opposed to the registry. Three times in the last week, on my way to town, I have seen what appears to be a feral cat along the road. Eventually, there will be more feral cats and we all know that feral cats come from houses/farmyards of people who either owned those cats or their ancestors. Perhaps those of us wish to have cats should share in the potential costs of addressing a feral cat overpopulation, should it happen in the future. I agree with your logic and arguments regarding the gun registry and registered my gun when the registry was first introduced.
